I returned the Mazda3 sedan loaner this morning with 16 miles to empty. Oops. Anyway, the liftgate on the CX-5 is okay now. They told me they “adjusted” the striker. Which means they probably hit it with a hammer.
Oh well. I tried the liftgate and it’s back to normal, so I don’t care.

Question
Will it do burnouts? Will it hold 2 medium sized dogs? Our old CX-9 held 2 75 pound ish dogs comfortably

No and yes.
It will barely chirp the tires even with the traction control off. Bless its heart. It tries, though.

Are the backseats comfortable?

Yes there are. It can get a little cramped for someone over 6 foot though.

Yeah. There’s more room than I expected. I’m 5"10 and can sit behind the driver’s seat adjusted for myself just fine.

Is the Nav any good?

Don’t know. Ours is a super base model and doesn’t have nav. :/

If you get one with the 2.5 instead of the 2.0, it’s got plenty of power.

Very true. My 6 has the 2.5 and our CX-5 has the 2.0 and there’s a night and day difference.

Yep. My wife complains that the 2.5 is too slow. She has no idea!
